for a

PCO/Lead Dental Nurse

. Whether you're an experienced Lead Nurse or looking to step into a leadership role for the first time, we'll provide all the necessary training and support to help you succeed.

As

Practice Coordinator Operator (PCO)

, you'll work closely with the

Practice Manager

to support the day-to-day running of the practice. This includes assisting with operational tasks that ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the team and patient services -- in addition to your clinical and leadership duties as a Dental Nurse.

In this dynamic role, you'll oversee infection control protocols, assist and train trainee nurses, manage stock and ordering, and conduct regular infection control audits -- all while continuing your passion for hands-on dental nursing. You'll work alongside our highly skilled Private Dentists and Hygienists, expanding your experience across a wide range of treatments.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the

Practice Coordinator Operator (PCO)

, supporting the

Practice Manager

in the daily operational running of the practice Lead and support the clinical team in delivering exceptional patient care Uphold infection control and decontamination procedures across the practice Train, mentor, and supervise trainee dental nurses Manage stock control and ordering of materials and equipment Conduct infection control audits and maintain full compliance with regulations Participate in practice meetings and contribute to continuous improvement in the patient journey Ensure adherence to all confidentiality, GDPR, and practice policies

Requirements

Valid GDC registration

(required)

2 years' experience

in dental assisting (required)

1+ year

of Dental Nursing experience (preferred) Ability to

commute or relocate
