Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a comfortable and pleasant journey. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and staff.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the bus, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bus interior. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, ensuring their safety at all times. Provide information regarding routes, schedules, and local attractions as needed. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly. Keep accurate records of passenger counts and any incidents that occur during trips.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and perform minor repairs. Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with larger vehicles such as buses or coaches. Familiarity with maintenance procedures to ensure the bus remains in optimal condition. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Proficiency in English for effective communication with passengers and team members. Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous but not essential. Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with diverse groups of passengers.
