TJ's Travel Ltd, a well establish & reputable Coach operator based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, is seeking experienced Tour drivers to join our Private hire & Tour team.

What we are looking for



Valid PCV Coach license (D)
At least 12 months Coach driving experience with 2 & 3 axled vehicles
European driving experience preferred (not essential)
Professional, reliable & presentable individuals
Willingness to undergo a full DBS check (processed & paid for by TJ's Travel Ltd)

Job Overview


We are seeking professional and reliable Private Hire & Tour drivers to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the Tours. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to community transportation services.

Duties



Safely operate Tours, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly to the maintenance team Follow all company policies and procedures related to driving and passenger safety Communicate effectively with Operational staff and passengers to ensure smooth operations Assist with loading and unloading luggage when necessary, including

Skills



Proven experience in Tour driving work in the UK & Europe Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues Customer service and self presentation Excellent communication skills for interacting with passengers and team members Ability to handle various driving conditions and adapt to changing schedules Knowledge of Local , National & European motorway network

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
