PDI Line Inspector



Location: Hull, Leads Road Site

About the Role



We're offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a PDI Line Inspector at our Hull manufacturing site. This role plays a key part in ensuring every holiday home leaving our factory meets the highest manufacturing and quality standards. You'll be at the front line of our commitment to excellence, inspecting products, identifying improvements, and supporting our drive toward a fully digital, data-driven inspection process.

Key Responsibilities:



Carry out full inspection processes on all manufactured holiday homes prior to delivery or during assembly. Complete all inspections digitally via Vensis tablets to support our ongoing process digitalisation. Log all manufacturing faults accurately by area and description. Reference: VIC-TG-022 PDI Process; VIC-TG-039 Lodge Inspection Process. Work closely with line operatives and management to provide clear feedback on any issues found, supporting Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives. Review and act on feedback from the CRM system to ensure inspection results contribute to department KPIs. Provide constructive feedback on model performance and recurring faults. Recommend and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies. Maintain company vehicles and IT equipment to a high standard.

What We're Looking For



Essential:



Good eye for detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read and interpret work cards and product specifications. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Comfortable using digital tools and tablets for inspection. A proactive attitude and willingness to identify and support improvements.

Desirable:



Previous experience in caravan or holiday home manufacturing (training will be provided). Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of BS3632 or NCC compliance standards (training provided). Ability to analyse data and spot performance trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 18.38 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
