THE ROLE:

We're looking for a PDI Team Leader for our busy Pre-Delivery Inspection department. This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled MOT Technician with a passion for motorcycles. You will lead the PDI team to ensure every motorcycle is prepared to the highest standard, on time and to manufacturer requirements. Working closely with the Service Manager, you will manage the workflow and provide technical support to the team whist driving efficiencies.

Lead and motivate PDI Technicians, Bike Builders, and Valeting Operatives including job allocation. Be a great communicator, liaising with the Showroom both verbally and via reports as well as holding team meetings. Assist with parts sourcing and support the Workshop Parts Coordinator. Complete manufacturer technical training as required and provide technical support, diagnostics, and problem-solving assistance to the team. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment and ensure compliance with health & safety, security, hygiene, and GDPR standards. A performance related team bonus scheme is in place.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Fully qualified MOT Technician with 10+ years' experience and technical knowledge across manufacturers. Full bike licence and strong motorcycle riding and road-test diagnostic skills. Calm, professional, organised, and proactive approach with strong leadership and coaching abilities. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong focus on customer service.

Pay: 37,000.00-39,000.00 per year
