Position - PE Teacher / Sports Coach

Job summary

Sporty Scholars is looking for enthusiastic PE Teacher / Sport Coaches that have a passion working with children, and teaching sport. The right individual will want to inspire children to be active, and have FUN while being in a safe environment while teaching the PE National Curriculum.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 12:50pm - 4:30pm

Main job responsibilities

Plan and deliver the sessions Ensure safe provision of all equipment and ensure it is used correctly Carry out different admin tasks - registers & assesment data Create fun and safe environment for all the children Building a positive relationship with colleagues and faculty staff Make sure safety standards are followed in sessions and undertake risk assessments

Essential requirements

Sports Degree or Equivalent Qualification is must Or atleast level 2 qualification in sports coaching / pe teacher Ability to communicate effectively with the public and professionals both verbally and written Enhanced DBS Should be over the age of 18 and have the right to work in the UK Valid Full UK Driving Licence is must Experience and enthusiasm in working with young children aged 3-12

Desirable qualifications:

Coaching experience (2-3 years +)
The role is subjected to an enhanced DBS check.
