About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and dynamic PE Teacher to join our highly regarded Grammar School in Tonbridge. This is a full-time maternity cover position, offering an excellent opportunity for an inspiring educator to contribute to a vibrant and successful department.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages, promote a positive culture of health and fitness, and support our extensive extracurricular sports programme. You will work alongside a dedicated team who are passionate about developing students' skills, confidence, and love for sport.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated PE lessons. Contribute to the development of an inclusive and aspirational PE curriculum. Support and lead extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and sporting events. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback. Maintain high expectations for behaviour, participation, and achievement.

About You

A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in Physical Education. A motivated and inspiring practitioner with strong subject knowledge. Able to work collaboratively within a successful department. Committed to supporting a broad range of sports and extracurricular activities. Organised, energetic, and adaptable, with a passion for helping students thrive.
