Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pedestrian Crane Driver to operate pedestrian-controlled cranes in a dynamic industrial environment.

Must have lifted supervisors ticket

The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, commercial driving, and moving materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a focus on safety, precision, and effective communication to ensure smooth operations across various projects.

Duties

Operate pedestrian-controlled cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads within the worksite Ensure proper load securing and adherence to safety protocols during crane operation Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on crane equipment to ensure optimal functioning Communicate effectively with team members regarding load status, safety concerns, and operational updates Follow all safety guidelines related to heavy equipment operation, including proper signaling and load management Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency during operations

Experience

Prior experience operating pedestrian cranes or similar heavy equipment in industrial or warehouse settings Knowledge of commercial vehicle operation, including manual transmission vehicles and heavy haul equipment Experience with various types of vehicles such as forklift, dump trucks, box trucks, tractor-trailers, or flatbeds is preferred Familiarity with warehouse logistics, freight handling, route driving, or yard jockey duties is advantageous Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring safety compliance Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus Valid driver's license with relevant endorsements (such as CDL or specific vehicle types) is required

Pay: 22.50-23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
