We are seeking a caring and reliable Pediatric & Maternity Nurses to provide attentive care to families vie The Village platform. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which the parents can be supported and the children can thrive.

Qualifications

Proven experience in night nursing, sleep consultancy, pediatric nursing, or similar childcare roles. Registered with NMC (required for nurses and midwifes operating in the UK) Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and patient approach. Solid understanding of infant and toddler development, including sleep patterns, routines, and soothing techniques. Ability to research and apply evidence-based sleep techniques and parenting strategies.

Additional Skills

Up-to-date enhance DBS registration. Experience working with families from diverse cultural and lifestyle backgrounds. Thorough knowledge of child safety practices, emergency procedures, and SIDS prevention techniques. Certification in neonatal care, pediatric nursing, or lactation consultancy (e.g., IBCLC) is a plus. Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of each family in a fast-paced or overnight setting. Excellent organizational skills to manage individualized sleep plans, family schedules, and progress tracking.
