Penetration Tester- Cyber Security

It\xe2\x80\x99s an exciting time for us at Thales and we are looking for a Penetration Tester to join our growing Cyber Security team. If you are innovative and enjoy advising on security solutions, taking into account customer needs\xe2\x80\xa6then this role could be for you.

The Cyber Security Penetration Testers check the compliance of a product or system according to its security requirements, based on a standard method. They look for the various paths of intrusion into the target information system and attempt to demonstrate how to exploit the identified vulnerabilities

As a Cyber Security Penetration Tester within Thales, you will:

  • Support accreditation activities on complex programs
  • Manage cybersecurity requirements throughout the project
  • Assist in the development of governance regimes and operating procedures
  • Advise on security enforcing functionality that could be used to mitigate risk in these systems
  • Produce through-life cybersecurity documentation
  • Provide guidance on a range of cybersecurity activities
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business and externally
  • Represent the cybersecurity function at working groups and project meetings
  • Assist in the generation of bid documentation and estimates
  • Be the project SME on current Cybersecurity Legislation, Regulation, Standards and Policies and monitoring changes
Knowledge and skills required

Previously conducted penetration tests on a variety of systems, including Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, Web Apps and Cloud

Significant experience on a similar activity (IT and/or OT)
A degree in Engineering or Computer Science or hold relevant industry certifications (CREST, OSCP, CEH, GWAPT, OSCE, GPEN, GXPN etc.)
Have experience of written report and design documentation

You want to advise on security solutions taking into account customer needs

Desirable
Domain knowledge\xe2\x80\x93 Defence, Nuclear, Government, Aerospace, CNI, Transport

Knowledge of testing methodologies
