Fel Pennaeth Cyfleusterau, Asedau a Phrosiectau Cyfalaf yng Ngardd Fotaneg Genedlaethol Cymru, bydd gennych ran strategol a gweithredol allweddol o fewn y Tim Rheolwyr Uwch yn arwain tim bychan medrus ac yn rheoli cyllideb o tuag 1M y flwyddyn. Byddwch yn gyfrifol am safonau cyfleusterau, seilwaith, systemau gweithredu, cwmpasu prosiectau cyfalaf a goruchwylio darpariaeth, risg gweithredu a'r gofrestr risg, diogelwch, polisi a rheolaeth statudol iechyd a diogelwch, a byddwch yn gyrru gwelliant parhaus mewn systemau a pherfformiad. Mae'r swydd arwain ymarferol hon yn gofyn am sgiliau rheoli cryf, gwybodaeth ymarferol am fasnach, a phrofiad wedi'i brofi o reoli cyfleusterau, trefnu cyllideb ac arwain tim - yn cael eu cefnogi gan sgiliau trefniadaeth gwych, sgiliau ysgrifenedig a llafar gwych a sgiliau TG. As Head of Facilities, Assets and Capital Projects at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, you will play a key strategic and operational role within the Senior Management Team, leading a small, skilled maintenance team and managing a budget of approximately 1M per annum. Responsible for facilities standards, infrastructure, operational systems, capital project scoping and overseeing delivery, organisational risk and the risk register, security, statutory and health and safety policy and management, you will drive continuous improvement in systems and performance. This hands-on leadership role requires strong project management skills, practical trade knowledge, and proven experience in facilities management, budgeting, and team leadership-- supported by excellent organisational, written and verbal communication, and IT skills. The role ensures that all services meet the diverse needs of a high-profile, multi-functional organisation, balancing heritage preservation with innovation, sustainability, and visitor experience.

You will be expected to be flexible to the reactive needs of the Garden and expect their shift allocations to vary, especially in the instances of duty management weekend/ evening work.

A passion for sustainability and the Garden's wider mission is highly desirable. Fluency and confidence in written and spoken Welsh will be an advantage.
