We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Pension Scheme Accountant who is keen to join our team, which plays a vital role in the Pension Scheme operations. The role is new and evolving. Full training will be given.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who is highly numerate with excellent organisational skills. If you are keen to learn, focused and willing to join a fast-paced business this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Experience and confidence in reconciliations and problem solving are essential, along with an ability to work with different software packages adn to work independently.
Key Responsibilities, for which full training will be given:
Reconciling bank accounts on a daily basis
Reconciling investment accounts
Daily matching of pension receipts to the schedules uploaded and liaising with the clients regarding any differences
General administration and updating records to ensure a clear audit trail
Working closely with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the pension scheme
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations relating to the finance operation.
Supporting the continuous improvement of finance processes to drive efficiency within the scheme
What You Will Need:
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in reconciling accounts and following through any differences to completion
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities - including telephone skills
A desire to succeed
