Make a real difference at the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS)
We are looking for a Pensions Dashboards Implementation and Transformation Lead to drive the successful integration of the Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) into MaPS' day-to-day operations. This is your chance to turn strategy into reality, leading the practical delivery work that will ensure MaPS is ready, aligned and equipped to operate the Pensions Dashboards Service (PDS) sustainably, while also laying the foundation for MaPS' future leadership in the pensions dashboards ecosystem.

Job description
Lead operational delivery and transformation activities to embed pensions dashboards into MaPS' business-as-usual environment.

You will develop toolkits, playbooks, and procedures, run readiness activities, and coordinate teams across MaPS to ensure systems and people are fully prepared for go-live. Your work will remove operational barriers, support staff confidence, and ensure a smooth transition to a high-quality dashboards service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the operational delivery of dashboards implementation into MaPS business-as-usual.
Drive organisational change and readiness by preparing teams for a smooth transition
Develop practical products and procedures to support implementation, including toolkits, playbooks, onboarding materials, and operational guidance.
Manage internal readiness activities such as walkthroughs, workshops, communications, and business rehearsals to support staff confidence and capability during transition.
Identify, escalate, and resolve operational blockers and interdependencies to ensure smooth and effective delivery.
Coordinate across functions to align readiness and operational delivery with the dashboards operating model and governance requirements set by the Head of the Pensions Dashboards Business Function.

You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Experience in operational delivery, change management, and service transformation, ideally within complex or regulated environments.
Proven ability to turn strategy into practical implementation, developing clear plans, resources, and guidance to support organisational readiness.
Expertise in creating transition tools, such as toolkits, playbooks, and procedures that enable smooth and sustainable service integration.
Strong facilitation and engagement skills, with experience leading internal readiness activities like workshops, walkthroughs, and rehearsals.
Excellent problem-solving and organisational capabilities, with a focus on identifying and removing barriers to ensure delivery success.
Confidence working across strategic and operational levels, aligning teams and systems during periods of significant change

Flexible Working
At MaPS, we take pride in our flexible approach to work. As standard, we work on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and our headquarters in Bedford will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business needs, but personal and other relevant circumstances will also be considered. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.

Selection process details
Reserve List
If you are successful at interview, we operate a reserve list where your details will be held for up to 6 months. Should a vacancy come available in that time with the same essential criteria, reserve list candidates will be offered that position with no further assessment required.
