to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Experience using
IRIS Cascade
(or similar HR/payroll systems) is highly desirable.
The role will be predominantly pensions with cover for payroll.
Responsibilities
Process end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
Maintain and update employee records within the
IRIS Cascade
payroll system (experience preferred).
Administer statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP, and holiday pay.
Prepare and submit RTI (Real Time Information) submissions to HMRC.
Manage pension scheme administration, including auto-enrolment and contributions.
Handle payroll queries and provide timely resolutions for employees .
Generate payroll reports for management and finance use.
Any other administration functions.
Skills
Proven experience in payroll administration (end-to-end).
Experience using
IRIS Cascade
(or similar payroll/HR software) is
highly desirable
.
Strong understanding of current UK payroll legislation and HMRC reporting requirements.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
