We are looking for a People Advisor to work within the People Directorate, in our HR Team, to ensure our culture and values support the engagement and wellbeing of our staff and foster their commitment to the success of SQA

.





The successful candidate will be required to provide generalist HR support across the HR team in order to help achieve operational objectives.



In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate skills and experience of the following:


Providing administrative and diary management support to Head of Service or Senior Management Supporting and guiding managers and employees on routine case management and employee relations issues in line with policy, legislation and best practice Involvement in and supporting HR related projects Good communication skills combined with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality Proficient in the use of MS Office packages and relevant HR systems Experience of providing administrative/advisory support in an HR environment Ability to work on own initiative, often in stressful situations while meeting strict deadlines. Good organisational skills and methodical approach.

Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 8 (Ideally with a professional HR qualification or have equivalent relevant HR work experience).
