About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has opened for a highly organised and proactive People and Estates Lead to take responsibility for several key operational functions within a school environment. This role combines HR support, estates coordination, health and safety oversight, and financial administration -- ideal for someone who thrives in a varied and fast-paced setting.
Working closely with senior leaders and wider trust teams, you will ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, maintain compliance across multiple areas, and contribute to creating a safe and positive environment for staff, pupils and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee staff recruitment processes, inductions, and statutory training.
Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure safer recruitment procedures are followed.
Support financial processes including purchase orders, banking income, and assisting with budget monitoring.
Coordinate health and safety compliance, including risk assessments, emergency drills, and organising required training.
Line manage site staff and oversee estates maintenance, inspections, and contractor visits.
Manage property and compliance records using systems such as EVERY (or equivalent).
Assist with census submissions and support general administration across the school.

Ideal Candidate
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Confident managing multiple workstreams -- HR, estates, H&S and finance.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with staff at all levels.
Strong understanding of compliance and school operational processes (desirable but not essential).
Able to work independently and take initiative.
