We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Administrator to join our People and Organisational Development (P&OD) team within the Human Resources Group.

This role is central to supporting the delivery of development programmes, events, and initiatives that enhance the staff experience across the University. Reporting to the Organisational Development Manager, you will provide high-quality administrative support, working collaboratively with internal teams, the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), and external partners. If you are self-motivated, highly organised, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a team environment, we would really like to hear from you.

In this role, you will coordinate a wide range of activities, including scheduling development initiatives, liaising with in-house trainers, managing bookings and course evaluations through our Learning Management System (iTrent). You will administer the eLearning platform and support engagement and wellbeing events. You will also maintain data systems, such as the CMI Hub, process payments and procurement, and deliver a professional, responsive service to staff and stakeholders. We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment where your skills and ideas are valued, and you will join a friendly, focused team passionate about making a positive impact.

We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).

The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. We seek to be diverse and inclusive, supporting individuals and groups to fulfil their potential and nurture a sense of belonging. We strive to be an accessible, inclusive employer, removing barriers for all. Find out more about our approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, including our commitments and accreditations as a Disability Confident Leader, Stonewall Gold Award holder and Top 100 Employer, Athena SWAN Bronze Award holder and Race Equality Charter Bronze Award holder.

If you are a current student at the University, you are welcome to apply for part-time roles of 16 hours or less per week, unless you are a part-time postgraduate student, in which case you can also apply for full time roles, subject to any visa requirements.
