About the role
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you'll be a trusted partner in delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant people operations. You'll take ownership of key processes that underpin our high-performance culture, ensuring our people and payroll systems support both business goals and colleague experience.
You will:
Acts as a strategic partner to business leaders on all people and payroll matters.
Be responsible for the delivery of the end-to-end monthly payroll, pensions, and benefits administration, ensuring 100% accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in efficiency.
Be the go to expert for payroll and benefits queries, providing clear, timely, and solutions focused support.
Provide data driven insight on all people analytics and performance indicators, including employee turnover, absence rates, EDI, employee relations activity.
Partner with managers across the business to embed best practice throughout the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to Employee Relations, HR Systems and wellbeing. Contribute to a high-performing, values led culture, driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, colleague experience and organisational success.
About you
You'll bring a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset. You'll take ownership of outcomes, strive for excellence, and be energised by delivering impact across the organisation.
You'll also have:
CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards it).
Proven experience in managing and delivering payroll and HR System processes with accuracy and confidentiality.
A solid understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the confidence to influence and collaborate across all levels.
Experience using data to inform strategy and performance improvement.
A creative and continuous improvement mindset, always seeking better, faster, smarter ways of working.
