Reports to Senior People Data, Insights and Reporting Manager

We are looking for someone to provide data and reporting support to the HR team and wider business. This role sits within the People Services team and is primarily responsible for compiling and reporting the information derived from our HR systems to help the HR team, line managers as well as our Senior and Executive level leaders to make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will be capable of intensive data investigation and possess robust problem-solving skills, along with a strong familiarity of data cleaning, data manipulation and data mapping.

Key responsibilities:

People Data

  • Lead in monitoring and measuring data integrity in our current HRIS (Talentia), presenting findings to the HR Operations team and management on any data issues e.g. corrupted / blank data, data ambiguity etc and ensure corrective action is taken
  • Work in partnership with the HR Operations team to amend the primary source data in Talentia so that it can be seamlessly inputted / fed into other HR, IT and Finance systems
  • Carry out data reconciliation based on the inputs received from various HR teams; Troubleshoot and solution (in collaboration with Talentia support) non-standard data issues in Talentia
  • Lead on user awareness / education around employee data, including updating SOPs
  • Ensure audit, compliance and data privacy requirements (GDPR) are adhered to in Talentia and other HR system reports
  • Support in creating and updating reports in the HRIS as and where required
People Insights
  • Monthly reporting on people metrics such as headcount, joiners, leavers, turnover, stability, time & attendance, sickness absence, diversity and inclusion etc.
  • Update the monthly HR dashboard accurately and timely to facilitate analysis and insights
  • Partner with recruitment, employee engagement and Aztec academy teams to collate monthly metrics
  • Assist the team with any additional people data to enable the creation of monthly People Pack
  • Enable the investigation of hypothesis by delivering on time data needs for the analysis
  • Assist the team with the ad-hoc data needs to enable delivery of the People data analytics projects
Compensation/Benefits/Payroll
  • Contribute to some components of payroll procedures as it relates to datasets used for both the payroll and finance teams throughout the month and at month end
  • Contribute to some components of benefits administration as it relates to datasets
Other
  • Collaborate between HR, IT and Finance to facilitate the implementation of new and/or improved reporting processes and functions
  • Support automation of people processes wherever possible to enable the People teams to focus more on strategic activities
  • Identify training needs of end users and prepare training material in relation to system functionality, utilization, new processes and procedures
  • Document the process optimisation initiatives and regularly communicate updates across the HR team
  • Consolidate reporting requirements into a single report catalogue and keep it up to date
  • Deliver ad-hoc reporting as per business requirements
  • Ensure that the system generated files are aligned with the HR Operations tracker
  • Assist HR team with their data needs as part of a particular business / HR project
  • Help the HR team with the data audits as needed
Skills, knowledge, expertise:
  • 5 years\' experience in a Data Analyst, Management Information or equivalent role
  • 3 years\' experience working with HRIS
  • Experience in BI / Reporting projects
  • Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products
  • Familiarity with HR concepts is preferred
  • Experience in Power BI is advantageous
  • Proficient in understanding the data and what needs to be communicated to the stakeholders
  • Good time management skills with ability to handle multiple client requests simultaneously, to tight timelines and to highest standards
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Relationship building skills and ability to tailor messages and style appropriately to an audience
  • A team player with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn new tools and software solutions
