As the People Operations Manager, you will work collaboratively with members of the People team and leaders across the business to ensure optimal functioning of Amplity's People processes and Human Resources (HR) information systems. Leveraging your experience designing and managing global, compliant, employment practices, this position acts as a consultant to business leaders on all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include employee onboarding and offboarding processes, employee data management, policy development and management, and vendor management.
The People Operations Manager is a champion for employee experience as well as continuous improvement. Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), this role is remote but must reside within a 1.5-hour radius of Amplity House in Chalfont, UK for ease of participation in in-person meetings as needed.
ResponsibilitiesIn partnership with peer leaders and CPO, the People Operations Manager drives a global mindset of delivering highest quality HR services and solutions to internal stakeholders, balancing both business requirements and employee needs.
Operates as the employment practice subject matter expert for non-US based employment matters.
Leads Amplity's Market Entry process, providing recommendations to senior leadership on the viability of employing in a new country.
Gathers data and analyzes trends to identify People practice and system improvements; recommends and implements solutions.
Maintains optimal function of Amplity's HR information services systems. Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches.
Ensures HRIS users operate within compliance and consistent practices.
Champions data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Supports the build of People Scorecard to communicate People Strategy progress and ROI.
Supports compensation and benefits benchmarking activities and makes recommendations based on country practice and business strategy.
Ensures all payroll items are reported in line with country cut-off dates each month.
Provides technical support and guidance to People team on HRIS practices and procedures. Conducts training as needed.
Manages People team vendor relationships and deliverables.
Complies with employment legislation requirements by reviewing existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Directly manages People Operations Coordinator(s) to deliver on People operations goals and deliverables.
Leads and manages People operations projects for non-US countries.
Oversees the handling of all non-US People queries to the People Team mailbox, redirecting them to the relevant stakeholders as necessary.
Education/ExperienceMinimum 7 years of HRIS experience. Experience with Workday preferred.
BS/BA in human resources, communications, information systems or similar is preferred.
Strong understanding of global employment practices, processes, and employment data.
Experience building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analytics.
1-2 years of direct people management.
Key CompetenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner both across departments with employees at all levels, and externally with partners.
Experience driving operational efforts, including collaborating with HR business partners, COEs and/or third-party vendors supporting HR services.
Curious and passionate about solving complex problems. Ability to demonstrate curiosity and a proactive approach to understanding variances in process and best practice across global markets.
Ability to work with and protect confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate seamlessly.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite products; Workday and Smartsheets preferred
