The People Partner will work with the People Director and Heads of People to deliver the agreed people plan for the business, including employee engagement, organisation design, change management, performance management and talent development. You will contribute to drive high performance, high engagement and a culture where our people thrive and want to stay. It is essential that you are stakeholder savvy because this this role will support and challenge leaders, as well manage complex employee relations cases. The People Partner will lead on specific projects across the Specialty platform to drive business change and will lead/support the People & Culture change programmes.
Key Role Accountabilities:
Lead on key people projects and change initiatives end to end; everything from design, consultation and delivery
Deliver 'business as usual' and embed People & Culture processes/policies into the business
Build trusted relationships with the People & Culture team as well as key stakeholders in the business
Using technical expertise to manage complex employee relations cases with a commercial acumen. Providing accurate expert advice and guidance to leaders
Embed a Performance Management culture that supports and delivers our business performance
Supporting the embedding of a new colleague and leadership behavior framework
Support the development of robust talent pipelines through talent development and succession planning
Collaborating with business leaders and the Talent Acquisition Partners to deliver an effective workforce plan
Supporting the business to deliver on improvements/changes to drive colleague engagement
Analysing and reviewing key people management information to identify opportunities/risks.
Working with the people leaders to continually improve the employee experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
Excellent business partnering experience gained in fast paced, high change, and large complex organisations
Superior stakeholder management skills, ability to build trusted relationships with all levels in an organisation
Change/project management experience; specifically, a track record of leading and delivering People & Culture workstreams in business change programmes and leading People & Culture change projects.
Experience of integrating teams after acquisition including due diligence and delivery required for harmonisation
Confident technical knowledge of TUPE with experience of managing a transfer process of employees
Ability to demonstrate the management of complex employee relation cases and achieving the right outcome
CIPD qualified with an exceptional knowledge of employment law and best practice. Keeps up to date with employment law changes and emerging employment trends
Experience working in the London Insurance Market/Insurance would be preferable
Person Specification:
Confident decision-making abilities based on a strong 'moral compass'
Ability to communicate effectively and credibility with gravitas to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
Advocate of change and continuous improvement
Ability to demonstrate commercial thinking with a solution focused and customer centric mindset
Ability to challenge and build processes/create solutions and is comfortable working in the 'grey'
A collaborative working style
Can successfully deliver multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

At Ardonagh Specialty, we have a straightforward interview process to ensure the best fit for both you and the company:

Our Talent Acquisition team will then arrange a call where they can tell you more about the role and the team. We want to learn about your motivation and goals, what you can bring to Ardonagh Specialty, and answer any immediate questions.
If successful, you will generally be invited to engage in a 1-hour interview with the Hiring Manager and selected team members, via teams or in person. We will discuss our technologies, key skills, and team dynamics and provide further opportunity to ask any questions. This is your chance to voice your thoughts on the role and we will outline our expectations and ensure this role aligns with your ambitions for the future.
Depending on the role, you may be invited to attend a second stage interview with further members of the team.
