The Role:



The People and Payroll Administrator is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and efficient HR and Payroll Administration. This role supports the employee lifecycle and is a pivotal part of our People Operations. The role is a FTC running till end of January.

Key Responsibilities



Carry out new starter document verification and follow-up. Process Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for new starters. Complete reference checks for new starters. Prepare reference letters for existing employees and respond to reference enquiries. Support with TUPE employee set-up and onboarding processes. Update and process variation requests for current employees. Entering employees onto our internal admin system. Process monthly payroll changes, including new starters and leavers. Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of payroll records. Process monthly expenses for our Group companies. Maintain accurate expense records and ensure compliance with policy. Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files. Provide administrative support to the People team as required.

Essential Requirements:



Experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll administration. High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to work well with colleagues at all levels.

The position is 20 hours a week Monday- Friday (Timing's can be flexible but needs to do 4 hours per day due to operational needs)

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
