to join our School Support Team on a fixed term basis to provide additional short-term capacity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing essential HR Administration and Payroll support to multiple schools and stake holders.
The key duties span across the spectrum of people services activities including recruitment, selection and onboarding of new staff, employee records management, learning and professional development, pay and benefits, including pensions administration and the offboarding of staff leaving TEAL.
The role will be based at our Teacher Development Centre in Melton, near Brough in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
This is a fixed term position until 31 August 2026.
The working hours are up to 37 hours per week, term time only, with the requirement to work an additional 74 hours during school closure periods. We also welcome applications from those seeking part-time or flexible working hours.
The actual annual salary upon appointment with TEAL will be 24,794 per annum (pro rata if less than 37 hours per week).

What are we looking for?
We're looking for an organised and proactive administrator with a strong interest in people services.
You'll have:
Experience in an administrative or people-focused role, with transferable skills welcomed
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
Confidence using IT systems and managing accurate, confidential records
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing competing priorities
Experience of HR, recruitment, payroll is desirable as is prior experience of the education sector, but these are not essential requirements, as training will be provided.
