Here at GXO, we're looking for a People Services Specialist to join us on a 6 month fixed-term contract basis.. Based out of our Head Office in Northampton, you'll play a key part in our central People Services team providing a professional service across a broad range of processes, including case management, all onboarding, lifecycle, and leaver processing, as well as supporting with administration and queries.





You'll be working from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with a hybrid working model so you can work from home as well as in the office!

We're looking to offer a salary of up to 28,000 per annum. In addition, we offer and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

Ensure all tickets are managed, processed, and tracked in a timely and accurate manner Maintain records of personnel-related data in line with retention guidance, ensuring all personnel files contain the relevant information required Work closely with peers and colleagues across People Services to oversee and provide appropriate compliance and governance structure to service improvements identifying risks, issues, and consistency Maintain and validate data in HR System, including new hires/terminations, transfers, salary/wage changes, benefit deductions/changes, and work locations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Experience in an HR-related role, if you are working towards CIPD Qualification this would be an added bonus! A minimum of 1 years in a shared service environment for a large, complex organisation Strong knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and contractual law is essential Able to work at pace and demonstrate flexibility, you'll be working in an environment with frequent interruptions, changing tasks and priorities
