This is an exciting time to join the Heathrow People Team as a People Transformation Manager. You will play a leading role in a large-scale transformation programme that will redefine people processes and technologies and elevate the strategic impact of the People function. This transformation will deliver a step-change across the colleague experience, acting as a key strategic enabler for Heathrow's overarching organisational strategy.
Reporting directly to the Head of People Transformation, you will be accountable for one of three programme workstreams. Working closely with People Team centres of excellence, you will scope requirements, lead the successful delivery of projects and enable the realisation of significant business benefits. Your role will see you lead a matrix programme team, including People Team colleagues, internal stakeholders and external technical experts.
The scope of People Transformation includes innovative projects spanning Position Management, Learning, Resourcing, Reward & Benefits, Case Management, Data and User Experience. These projects will include the optimisation of Heathrow's core Oracle Fusion system, as well as the introduction of new technologies.
Defining and scoping People transformation projects and initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Acting as a subject matter expert on People technologies and processes, bringing external best practice to Heathrow through influence, coaching and challenge
Project managing a portfolio of projects from business case, through delivery, to the realisation of business benefits
Collaborating across the organisation to embed transformation into core processes
Using data and insights to inform decisions and assess performance
Ability to evidence playing a leadership role in a similar People transformation programme, delivering a step change in technologies and processes for a large and complex organisation. This may include experience as a direct employee, contingent worker, or consultant
Experience scoping and delivering projects in a complex environment, with the ability to design and deliver solutions in response to organisational needs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. This will include an ability to build strong relationships and collaborate at all levels of the organisation, including providing challenge and support to senior stakeholders
Able to demonstrate strong data and analytical skills
Resilience and tenacity to manage conflicting demands, with the ability to flex and work in a changing environment with ambiguity, tight timeframes, and external pressure
