On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a

Performance and Reward Analyst

for a

6- month c

ontract based in

Birmingham

on a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home.


Purpose of the role:




To support payroll operations for approximately 8,200 employee records by ensuring accurate and timely processing in line with SLAs and company procedures, overseeing end-to-end payroll control including annual pay rounds and share awards, and managing payroll-related queries and compliance reporting to strengthen operational efficiency and employee trust.

Key Responsibilities



Supporting accurate and timely payroll processing for UK, Ireland, and Sweden in line with payroll calendars and SLAs. Managing end-to-end control of payroll runs, including annual pay rounds and vesting share awards. Entering and validating employee data changes such as starters, leavers, bank details, and ad hoc adjustments. Handling second-level payroll queries from employees and providing accurate responses to HR teams. Preparing and submitting payroll tax reporting, including monthly and annual returns (P45 & P60). Assisting with payroll testing during year-end activities and system changes. Providing audit support for internal and external payroll reviews.






Skills & experience



Minimum 3 years' experience in UK and/or Ireland payroll processing with strong manual payroll calculation skills. Strong analytical ability with advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data validation and reporting. Experience with SAP Payroll systems (desired). Knowledge and experience in processing payroll for modified PAYE schemes (desired). Strong admin, organisational & multitasking skills with attention to detail Effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders Knowledgeable in payroll tax, compliance reporting, and audit support Experienced in supporting year-end activities and payroll system testing
