Job Description

Mercia Utility Services are searching for a Performance Manager. This role is integral to developing the business by improving employee performance and maximising efficiency. Mercia work with energy companies to support field-based activities including meter reads, investigate energy theft and resolve debt on utility usage. We are now looking to grow and expand and need industry talent to take the business to the next level

We are looking for individual who is a problem solver and not afraid to make positive business changes. You would be reporting straight into the Managing Director and responsibilities would include.

Recruiting and training employees

Conducting employee reviews and appraisals

Maintain client relationships by ensuring the employees hit the SLA's

Using the KPI's to make improvements

Teamwork and Collaboration closely with all employees and SLT to align the business goals and vison

Weekly updates with Managing Director

Daily Duties



To manage the day-to-day administrative functions, putting in place clear procedures to enable all administration to be completed efficiently and effectively Designs, implements, and reviews office work instructions To be responsible for managing and monitoring all performance within the operational teams To monitor emails addresses and respond to all queries in a timely manner Promote staff development and training Use a range of software including email, spreadsheets, and databases to ensure the efficient running of the office Ensure a positive working relationship with clients

Qualifications & Experience:



Industry Knowledge: Understanding of utilities would be ideal Communication Skills: Persuasive negotiator with exceptional presentation and relationship-building abilities Self-Starter: Highly motivated, organised, with attention to detail Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems Experience in a similar role developing and leading a team

Skills



Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

Microsoft Office

Able to prioritise own work and respond to fast paced environment or conflicting deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure

Strong people skills & confidence to manage a busy environment.

Effective listening & communication skills, using diplomacy to ensure the team is working effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: minimum from 35,000 negotiable depending on experience upwards to 50,000
