We operate a group of entertainment venues in Liverpool under the Haus of Fun. Our shows range from drag cabaret and tribute acts to immersive party nights. FunnyBoyz is already a success story -- now we're looking to bring the rest of our venues up to that standard.
The Role
This is not a "social media assistant" role. This is a sales-driven marketing position where your main responsibility is to sell tickets and put bums on seats. You'll take ownership of marketing campaigns for our events across multiple venues, focusing on paid advertising, email marketing, and data-driven strategies that deliver measurable results. Applicants must also note that nobody else in the company has an extensive experience in this sector, so there will be no manager supervising or guiding your work -- you will be expected to bring the expertise and operate independently.
Responsibilities:
Run and optimise
paid advertising campaigns
(Meta, TikTok, Google Ads) focused on ticket sales.
Create and deliver
email marketing campaigns
to push events.
Monitor ticket sales daily across multiple platforms (Skiddle, Eventbrite, Fatsoma, Fever, etc).
Adjust campaigns quickly to hit targets and avoid undersold shows.
Prioritise growth for venues/brands with lower sales (FunnyBoyz already has demand).
Report weekly on performance, with clear metrics: cost per ticket, ROI, percentage of sales achieved.
What We're Looking For:
Hands-on experience running
paid ad campaigns
with proven ROI.
Strong knowledge of
digital marketing analytics
(CPA, ROAS, CTR, etc).
Track record in ticketed events, hospitality, nightlife, or entertainment marketing (ideal).
Someone who can work independently, execute campaigns, and deliver sales without needing a big team.
A proactive attitude -- willing to test, learn, and push results.
Success in this role means:
Events consistently hitting
at least 40% ticket sales
from marketing campaigns.
Measurable sales growth across struggling venues.
Clear reporting showing the direct link between your campaigns and revenue.
Why Join Us?
You'll have the chance to take full ownership of marketing strategy and execution across multiple venues, directly shaping their success. If you're ambitious, commercial-minded, and love the buzz of live events, this is your chance to make a visible impact.
How to Apply:
Send your CV and a short cover note outlining your experience with paid ads and sales-driven marketing campaigns. Bonus if you can share examples of past campaigns and their results.
