The Role
As a business heavily focused on data-driven growth, we are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven
Performance Marketing Executive
to maximise sales performance and Return on Ad Spend (
ROAS
).
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and optimisation of our paid digital campaigns, primarily within Google Ads. Uniquely, this role also involves competitive pricing analysis and execution, making it a fantastic opportunity to work beyond the ads platform - making impactful changes to the website and products.

Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Marketing Execution & Optimization
Hands-On Campaign Management:
Execute daily optimisation of paid campaigns (Search, Shopping, Display, Retargeting) primarily across
Google Ads
(a must-have) and
Microsoft Ads
, with future involvement in Meta Ads Manager.
ROAS & Budget Focus:
Proactively manage daily targets, bids, and budgets to maximize ROAS and sales volume, regularly evaluating search terms and developing new, high-potential ad groups.
Creative Collaboration:
Work closely with the Content team to brief, develop, and iterate on high-performing ad copy, visual assets, and landing page content tailored for specific advertising goals.
Rigorous A/B Testing:
Design and execute tests on creative, ad copy, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation to drive continuous improvement in key performance metrics.
2. Strategic Pricing & Commercial Analysis
Market & Competitive Research:
Conduct thorough research into market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and product offerings to inform commercial decisions.
Price Testing Execution:
Utilise market and internal data to propose price changes to the Senior Digital Marketing Executive. You will be responsible for executing and frequently re-running price tests dependent on inventory and market conditions.
Profitability Analysis:
Analyse internal data (costs, sales volume, margins) to forecast the financial impact of potential price changes and ensure optimal commercial profitability.
3. Data, Tracking & Reporting
Accurate Tracking:
Ensure the accurate tracking, reporting, and attribution across all digital channels using tools like
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
and internal dashboards.
In-Depth Analysis:
Conduct deep-dive analysis of campaign and product performance, proactively identifying high-impact trends, uncovering optimisation opportunities, and addressing underperformance.
Reporting:
Prepare and present clear, actionable weekly and monthly performance reports to the Senior Digital Marketing Executive.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of proven, hands-on experience in a Performance Marketing, Paid Media, or Digital Marketing role, ideally managing a significant budget.
Core Platform Proficiency:
Demonstrable expertise in managing and optimising campaigns within the
Google Ads platform (Search and Shopping)
. Experience with Microsoft Ads and/or Meta Ads Manager is highly valued.
Analytical Excellence:
Exceptional data analysis skills, with high proficiency in spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets) and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., GA4).
Testing Mindset:
A proactive, data-led approach to continuous optimisation, testing, learning, and rapid iteration.
E-commerce Acumen:
Strong understanding of e-commerce business drivers, including concepts like
ROAS, CPA, LTV,
and conversion funnels.
Bachelor's Degree:
ideally in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Desirable (Bonus) Skills
Direct experience with other advertising channels such as TikTok Ads or Pinterest.
Relevant platform certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Blueprint).
Familiarity with tracking implementation, tagging, and complex attribution models.
Strong knowledge of plants and horticulture.
Industry experience.
What We Offer
Competitive Salary:
30,000 - 40,000 (depending on experience).
Hybrid Working:
Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid-remote working, collaborating with the team in London one day per week. We rotate between co-working offices in Liverpool Street, Soho and Farringdon.
