Futureworks is seeking an experienced
Performance and Quality Manager
to drive impactful employability services that change lives across Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.
As a key member of our team, you will lead a portfolio of employability services, oversee a talented team, and foster essential partnerships with local businesses and community groups. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and organised leader ready to bring their skills to a high-impact position with a respected provider of training, employment, and community focused programmes in west Wales.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
: Inspire and guide Job Coaches and Employer Engagement Officers to exceed targets, maintaining high standards in compliance, quality, and health and safety.
Project & Partnership Management
: Oversee multiple contracts and grants, ensuring programmes meet and exceed participant engagement and employment targets.
Quality & Compliance
: Conduct quality audits, compliance reviews, and performance evaluations to maintain Futureworks' and commissioners' high standards.
Strategy Development
: Craft and execute strategies for participant and employer engagement, directly addressing recruitment gaps and skills shortages in local industries.
Resource Planning & Reporting
: Accurately forecast and plan, delivering reports and insights to the Business Development Manager on contractual performance and resource allocation.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Experience
: Minimum three years in employability, welfare-to-work, or recruitment, including leading employability programmes.
Leadership Skills
: A proven track record of motivating teams to achieve ambitious targets, fostering a collaborative work environment, and driving performance.
Analytical Ability
: Experience with Management Information (MI) reports, Power BI, and using data to track trends and drive decisions.
Interpersonal Skills
: Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and delegation abilities.
Organisational Expertise
: Skilled in planning, resource management, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Desirable Experience
: Knowledge of DWP, Welsh Government and UK Government grants and contracts is advantageous.
A full driving licence and access to reliable transportation.
This role requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.
