Key Responsibilities



Team Management & Development



Development: Full ownership of your pods development, including oversight & delivery of regular PDP reviews and bi-weekly feedback via 1:1 check-ins. Pod Huddles: Oversee the pod huddle process and ensure these are leveraged to drive happiness, support and productivity across your team. Training: Develop a strong understanding of your team's skills & ability alongside identifying where there are knowledge gaps. Build out training sessions/plans to address these and ensure team members are progressing towards their goals. Happiness: Responsibility for happiness across your pods. Identify issues quickly and work with your AD to resolve these and support retention.

Agency Process and Best Practice



Agency Process: Responsible for ensuring all existing & new agency processes are being followed across your pod (notion, Asana, agendas, time sheets, test & learn etc.) Quality Assurance: Ensure that quality assurance is being carried out across all your team's output and SLA's are being adhered to. Performance: Fully accountable for ensuring there are no issues around spend or performance in your pods that could otherwise be avoided. Put measures in place to quickly identify issues and resolve them. Best Practice: Take full ownership of ensuring best practices are being adhered to across your team and their accounts and you are laser focused on ensuring the team are delivering the highest quality of work, providing clear and directive feedback where needed. Reporting: Ensure there is a strong reporting process across your pod (weekly, MBR, slack updates as outlined by client tiers) and regularly review these and adapt where necessary.

Client Relationships & Management



Client Strategy & Roadmaps: Development and execution of comprehensive strategy roadmaps for clients, ensuring alignment with their business goals and market trends. Proactively identify and present exciting short-term growth opportunities within your client portfolio, showcasing these opportunities compellingly to clients. Forecasting: Assist your AD with wider business forecasting (CAC, LTV etc.) to ensure we drive long term growth for clients. Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor with a strong understanding of their business. Priority Planning: Oversee and streamline priority planning, ensuring deliverables are achieved and assisting juniors with task management and pushback when needed. Scope Alignment: Collaborate with the AD to align time tracking output more closely with the agreed scope of work, optimising efficiency and delivery. Issue Resolution: Quickly escalate and address client happiness issues with your AD, working towards swift and effective resolutions.

Wider Business Support



New Business: Oversee platform audit sections of Tier 1-3 pitch presentations, collaborate on identifying and developing opportunities, and present findings proficiently. Sprints: Manage the output of your assigned pillar in paid sprints, advising the team to ensure alignment with the brief and timely delivery. Platform Champions: Work closely with the Head of Paid Media to champion new initiatives, tests, and innovations that enhance our platform offering. Provide actionable contributions to the development of our platform roadmaps and oversee and maintain the relationships to ensure we get the most out of the reps. Marketing Initiatives: Support and contribute to marketing initiatives, including idea identification, blog post writing, and speaking at industry events.

About You



Management Skills: Experience in team leadership, including performance management and team development. Best Practice: Excellent knowledge of the paid media platforms and governance of best practices across a portfolio of clients. Process Driven: Oversee the rollout and uptake of agency processes across your pod of clients. Identify new ideas to drive efficiency and role these out. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex data sets and derive actionable insights to assist with client decision making. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior management. Client Management: Excellent relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders. Organisational Skills: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality of work.

Preferred Qualifications



Experience in a management role within a similar industry. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive working relationships both internally and externally. Highly organised, with previous experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent knowledge of best practices across paid media platforms. Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools.
As a Performance Team Lead, you will be responsible for the smooth running of client management and the oversight and development of a small team of paid media consultants.
