We're looking for a Superstar to work with our 4-5 year olds and 6-8 year olds.
You will be the most awesome person in our student's lives.
The one they see first when they arrive, last before they leave and is there with them throughout the whole session to support their learning and support them as mighty great young people!
You'll also support the teacher to teach outstanding lessons consistently.
You'll be a vital cog in the large team that we have, an absolute lifeline for the management team... for this particular assistant role we are looking for someone that is versatile, flexible and adaptable, able to jump into any class, working with any new group of children and have that instant rapport as if they've known them forever.
The students will come away saying how much they love you for being there for them and the teachers will come away saying how much they love you for enabling them to teach effectively!

We teacher dance, drama and singing in equal lessons to ages 2-18.
The role:
Saturdays (term time) 08:40-14:10
Location - Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.
This is an early career role and may be ideally suited to someone looking to gain experience in this field, for example still in training as a performer themselves!
Plenty of room for progression and development within the organisation. The majority of former post-holders of this role have gone on to become teachers with us, and even two, gone on to become Managers of the school, one running their own school and have gone on to direct/choreograph West End performances with us!

The ideal candidate must meet the following ESSENTIAL criteria;
Experience working with children under 9 (ideally in a performing arts or relevant environment.
Demonstrable skill/knowledge and training in dance/acting/singing.
Understanding and knowledge of current safeguarding and child protection practice
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and obtain a Chaperone Licence if not already in possession of
The personality and character that screams warmth, positivity, bubbly and friendliness with a can-do approach and an attitude in-keeping with our values of trustworthiness, honesty, openness and being a fab new team member.
Adaptable and able to respond to change.
Passionate about theatre and passionate about working with young people within a theatre setting.
The ideal candidate may also meet the following DESIRABLE criteria;
Previous experience working within a part time theatre school
An additional arts / theatre industry skill
Have a relevant performing arts / education qualification, eg. BTEC, A Level, Degree, ISTD, BTDA,
