Stagecoach Performing Arts Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Stratford-Upon-Avon & Warwick are currently recruiting new teachers to join our teams across the region. We are seeking dedicated Early Years assistants, Musical Theatre, Drama and Singing Teachers to join us from the Spring term starting in January 2026.
The right candidates should be creative, inspirational and able to deliver a varied and exciting curriculum to children aged 4 - 6 or 6 - 18 in Singing, Drama and Musical Theatre tuition.
This is a freelance role working with children. All applicants must be self employed and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check - those already cleared and on the update service are especially welcomed.
Roles
We are currently recruiting for the following roles -

Musical theatre teacher
(must be triple threat) for a
Saturday morning in Balsall Common
teaching our Further Stages students (15 - 18.)

Musical theatre teacher
(specialising in drama and singing) for a
Saturday morning in Stratford-Upon-Avon
teaching our Main Stages students (6 - 14)

Early Stages assistant
for a
Saturday morning in Stratford-Upon-Avon
helping assist in our classes for 4 - 6 year olds.

Musical theatre teacher(s)
for a
Saturday morning
to act as a super swing teacher covering any classes across all of our venues that need a cover teacher.
If the above roles do not fit your availability but you would like to work with us in future, we also welcome applications from teachers who wish to join our cover pool. This would suit teachers / performers based in the Warwickshire/Midlands area who cannot commit to working every week and would like to pick up ad hoc work teaching at our schools.
Responsibilities
The right candidates must be able to;
- Write a brief lesson plan in advance and then deliver high quality lessons in accordance with these plans, showing progression for all students across the week. Lessons should be engaging and educational, show variation for ability levels and captivate all children in group lessons. For Singing teachers the ability to play an accompanying instrument is desired but not essential.
- Assist the Principal and other teachers with Child Safeguarding duties, supervising the children moving around the school and ensuring all Child Safeguarding policies and procedures are followed without exception.
Personal Specification
- Have a performing arts qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- Have experience planning and delivering performing arts lessons for children and young people, preferably within a theatre or stage school setting.
- Have an understanding of the technical challenges children and young people might encounter in performing arts classes and the ability to work with students to provide the tools to overcome these challenges.
- Have an affinity for and desire to work with children and young people.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have the ability to work as part of a team passionate about teaching and the Performing Arts.
