The Opportunity & Role Profile
This Outstanding school requires a creative Performing Arts Technician to support its thriving Drama and Music departments. You will provide the technical expertise necessary for high-quality productions, concerts, and practical classroom assessments.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
Production Management: Designing and operating sound and lighting for school shows and managing the technical aspects of the school theatre.
Resource Maintenance: Managing the inventory of AV equipment and musical instruments and performing routine technical repairs.
Instructional Support: Assisting students with the use of industry-standard recording and editing software.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Practical experience in live sound, lighting design, or theatre technology.
Salary: Competitive salary paid on the local government scale (expected 25,000 - 30,000 per annum).
