We are currently seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our dynamic safeguarding team in Cambridgeshire on a permanent basis. As a Qualified Social Worker in our safeguarding team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, documentation, and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
