About the role




We're looking for a motivated and approachable individual to join us as a Personal Academic Tutor, supporting students to achieve their best at the University of Sunderland.


In this 12-month fixed-term, part-time role (0.3FTE), you will work closely with programme teams and colleagues across the University to provide personalised support, guidance and encouragement to students throughout their academic journey. You'll be a trusted first point of contact, helping students navigate challenges, stay engaged with their studies and make the most of the opportunities available to them.

You will be confident in engaging with students 1:1 and in groups, both in person and online, and comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality student experience. Organised, adaptable and approachable, you will bring a genuine passion for supporting others to succeed.
