Job Description

Personal Assistant 14 per hour

I am a 72 year old man living in Merthyr Tydfil with my wife. I am looking to employ a personal assistant that could take me out of the house 2/3 times per week, total 15 hours weekly. I have been diagnosed with dementia but I am physically active and fit. I would like to be busy with my personal assistant to be active with gardening, sports activities such as bowls or table tennis. I also enjoy walking and being sociable. My personal assistant would need their own car and hold a driving licence to transport me to activities

Rate of Pay

- 14.00 per hour plus mileage

Days and Hours of work

- 15 hours per week -to be discussed / agreed.

Type Of Person Required

Someone with a good sense of humour and similar interests I would prefer a male companion but would welcome female applicant too. Someone with experience would be advantageous but willingness to learn is essential Someone who is outgoing and is fit and active

TRAINING

A person with the appropriate attitude and commitment will be able to do the job.

About The job

This position requires a national insurance number.

Applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS police check at no cost to yourself.
