We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support with a background of care . The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and have a keen eye for detail. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and responsibilities, allowing for efficient management of time and resources.
Key Duties
Manage the MD's diary, meetings, and travel arrangements.
Handle calls, emails, and correspondence on behalf of the MD.
Prepare reports, letters, and presentations, including for CQC and board meetings.
Take minutes and follow up on actions from meetings.
Support HR admin (recruitment, staff records, training logs, DBS checks).
Organise audits, inspections, and compliance paperwork.
Maintain confidential filing systems and accurate records.
Liaise with staff, families, commissioners, and external professionals.
Monitor deadlines for policies, training, and regulatory requirements.
Provide general administrative and project support as needed.
Requirements
Proven administrative experience in an office environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Experience with data entry and clerical tasks is highly desirable
Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not essential
Typing proficiency with attention to detail is required
