Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting young people with autism?
Do you enjoy fun, outdoor activities and making a real difference?

We are looking for a

caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic individual

to support a non-verbal young person with autism and a severe learning disability for 5 hours per week during the school holidays. Your role will involve accompanying them to activities they enjoy, such as soft play and outdoor adventures - they absolutely love being outside!

About the Role:



5 hours per week during school holidays Supporting a young person to access activities in the community Providing assistance with walking and ensuring safety at all times (no danger awareness) Some personal care may be required

About You:



We are seeking someone who is:

Autism-aware

, with an understanding of the challenges this can bring to a young person's life

Compassionate, patient, and fun

, with a genuine passion for your role Experienced in working with young people in a care setting Ideally holds a

full UK driving licence

to support with transport to activities Vigilant, responsible, and committed to promoting safety and wellbeing

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 5 per week
