Job Description

The Churches Trust is acommunity organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and families across the Derry/Londonderry area. We are currently seeking self-employed Personal Assistants to join our team and provide essential support to people in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.

About the Role



As a Personal Assistant, you will work directly with clients, offering practical help with day-to-day tasks. This is a flexible, self-employed position, ideal for individuals who are caring, reliable and motivated to make a difference in their community.

Responsibilities include:



Assisting clients with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation Providing companionship and emotional support Supporting clients to attend appointments, shopping trips or social activities Encouraging independence and dignity in all aspects of care

Requirements:



Caring and compassionate nature with good communication skills Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently Previous experience in care or support work (desirable but not essential) Ability to travel within the Derry/Londonderry area Access to a vehicle and full driving licence Access NI Enhanced Disclosure will be required if appointed
