Personal Assistant (Freelance Contractor - Part-Time)
We're recruiting for a highly organised, experienced Personal Assistant to join our team on a freelance basis. You'll work closely with the CEO to provide practical day-to-day support across business and administrative tasks - helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Our business is growing rapidly and we now need someone locally to support the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimise the CEO's calendar, including client meetings, travel, personal commitments, and internal deadlines
Filter and manage emails and documents, flagging priorities and drafting replies where appropriate
Prepare meeting notes, follow-up actions, and presentation materials
Liaise with clients, collaborators, and suppliers on logistics, scheduling and admin
Support invoicing, document filing, basic bookkeeping tasks and online systems
Help plan and organise events and meetings
Carry out online research and manage small projects/tasks
Provide general admin and day-to-day support - keeping everything running smoothly
About You
You're highly organised, trustworthy and proactive - with a calm, can-do attitude. You love working behind the scenes, making life easier for others, and keeping everything in flow.
You're confident managing multiple tasks and people, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a flexible, fast-paced environment. You embrace technology and are quick to find new technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency. You'll need to be self-employed and set up to invoice for your time.
You'll Need
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong organisation and time management
Good working knowledge of Google Workspace, Excel, Zoom, and other remote tools
Experience working with LinkedIn, CRM, and marketing automation tools
Experience of working with AI platforms such as ChatGPT
Discretion and professionalism
Energy, warmth, and a flexible, can-do attitude
Must be self-employed and able to invoice monthly
Must be available to work in-person in Exeter on a regular basis
Working Pattern
1-2 days per week, flexible
Hours can be spread across the week (e.g. 2-3 hours a day over multiple days) or worked in half days
Hybrid role with regular in-person time in Exeter
Flexibility around school hours or other commitments is possible but is needed all year.
