Job Description


Policy and Public Affairs manages senior political, regulatory and industry relationships as well as complex and sensitive issues affecting Sky in all its major markets.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized and loves being at the centre of a busy team dealing with high profile external partners.

What you\'ll do:

  • Provide administrative support to Group Director Policy & Public Affairs and the wider team.
  • Support the work of the Public Affairs team and assist with the delivery of specific tasks and projects.
  • Manage the finances of the Policy and Public Affairs team, track expenditure and advise on budget allocation.
  • Manage the Brussels office and support the Head of the office with the integration of the Brussels team into the UK and Group teams.
  • Build appropriate relationships within Sky with HR and IT to support the functioning of the office as well as dealing with payroll and facilities management.
  • Meet and manage visitors to ensure the best impression and positive image presented to the political and opinion former team members.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the sensitive nature of work and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Corporate Affairs Directorate and different parts of the business, including Exec, to contribute to the smooth running of the business.
  • Act as delegate for Sky systems including Ariba, Spark & People Portal for all administrative functions required (i.e. approvals and requests)
  • Support other PAs at busy times and for absence cover.
