Personal Assistant required - St Neots (PE19) - PUR-912-017

About me:

11 year old female child. She is non-verbal and has a diagnosis of ADHD, ASD, ODD, Tics Disorder and Schindler disease. She is double incontinent. She has no awareness of danger and can be a flight risk. Family use a specialist buggy to get around.

Hours and Rate of Pay:

4-6 hours per week - can be discussed further at interview.

Rate of Pay:

12.50

Patience and the ability to take the time to establish a high quality relationship is key to this role.

Demonstrate kindness and respect.

Should have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care, be able to work flexible hours and be a good communicator.

Possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role.

Be hardworking, reliable, committed, honest and trustworthy. Have common sense and be able to use their initiative.

Clean full driving licence essential and access to own vehicle.

Be cheerful with a good sense of humour.

Role responsibilities:

Assist with accessing the community such as going for walks and swimming

Support with personal care in a dignified manner - changing nappies.

Establish a close working relationship on a 1-1 basis.

Undertake any duties which may be reasonably allocated and fall within the scope responsibility of the job.

Needs may vary on a daily basis therefore hours, duties and tasks may alter slightly.

Qualifications and Work Experience:

Experience with severe special needs, familiar with non-verbal children and happy to change nappies etc.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
