Personal Assistant to Landowner Are you a confident, organised, calm and capable PA looking for a new challenge? Are you someone who would enjoy being an integral part of a busy rural office and country minded close knit \xe2\x80\x9cfamily\xe2\x80\x9d team? We have a fantastic opportunity for a professional and efficient Personal Assistant to support the Landowner on a beautiful rural estate. This role encompasses both business and personal needs, with additional responsibilities in contributing to the Events business and assisting in the efficient running of the Front Office. Key tasks:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for Landowner: dealing with email, post correspondence and phone calls. Alerting Landowner to urgent enquiries.
  • Assisting the Landowner with new and ongoing projects. Once briefed, you will be expected to manage communication these projects and provide regular updates to the Landowner and his team.
  • Managing Outlook calendar and organising meetings and appointments.
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation.
  • Organising attendance at events and conferences including purchasing tickets.
  • Providing Landowner with reminders regarding meetings and ensuring they have all relevant documents.
  • Attending meetings alongside Landowner, typing, compiling and preparing reports, minutes presentations and correspondence.
  • Liaising with suppliers and clients.
  • Collating and filing expenses.
  • Conducting research and ad hoc projects.
  • Organising personal commitments including travel or childcare.
  • Working closely with the Landowner\xe2\x80\x99s Team including contractors and other team members
  • Working with Partners to develop the Corporate Events side of the business through networking and word of mouth.
  • Helping to organise annual Shoot: Liaison, administration, and logistics.
  • Private/Client Events: Quotes, viewings, contracts, administration, logistics.
  • Responsible for Events Risk Assessments, Fire Risk Assessments and ensuring the Events spaces are complaint with latest HSE recommendations.
  • Meeting, greeting, and assisting visitors.
  • Assisting with day to day running of the office and provide cover for Admin Assistant on occasion.


This is a lovely opportunity for someone with bags of charm who wants to play a part in the smooth running of this busy family estate. A background or interest in agricultural or rural businesses would be highly advantageous as well as being comfortable with all field sports. This is permanent, on-site position paying \xc2\xa340000 \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa345000 depending on experience, plus benefits.
