Are you looking for a few extra hours per week? Do you have passion for supporting people with additional needs?

A family in Milton Keynes are currently looking for a personal assistant to support their adult son to access social activities within the community.

Hours: A total of 7.5 per week, including 4:30pm-7pm on Friday evenings. Some flexibility can be offered with the remainder of the hours, although they will be weekday evenings.

Job Role: You will be providing support for a 18-year-old to access various social activities within the community, help to engage him in fun activities to build communication skills and interaction through play, as well as grow his understanding of risk whilst ensuring his safety.

Be flexible and work with the family to support him to achieve his potential and increase his independence.

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: 13 per hour.

About you:

The family would like you to have experience of working with people with additional needs. It is also important to have excellent listening skills to enable you to communicate with their son effectively.

A driver's licence and access to car is essential. In addition, you will be required to complete DBS. The role offers flexible working so could be worked in addition to another role.
