Background to the job: To work for 4 hours every THURSDAY in a family home supporting a 40 year old man with Multiple Sclerosis. Helping Clark to run his patient group " United Patients Alliance" with tasks such as phone calls, admin work such as filing and sending parcels at the local post office, cleaning, tidying and general housework such as washing clothes, folding dried clothes and assisting making the home clean and tidy.
Good administration skills are also required to assist Clark with his day-to-day appointments and various projects involving digital media and patient advocacy work as well as admin for Clarks various prescriptions, some with the Local GP and others via private health care providers.
A proactive attitude is useful, along with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. The work will take place in Clark's home, so reliably commuting to Woodingdean is a must.
Patience, reliability, and a sense of humour are essential!
Starting as soon as possible, flexible timings, anytime between 9am and 6pm is suitable so applicant could work 9am till 1pm or 2pm till 6pm or anything in between as long as it was the 4 hours required.
A paid trial shift will take place before being offered the job.
