Part time Personal Assistant
12.21 hour
Shift times generally around: 11am-2pm /11-3pm

Shifts are available Mondays to Sundays please state your shift availability when you apply.

A compassionate and organised Personal Assistant is needed to support a disabled adult live as independently as possible. Successful applicants should have a person centered approach to care and be open and willing to help a creative individual live their best life possible within their limitations. The job would suit a calm and dynamic individual. You should understand how to cook healthy food and genuinely care about assisting disabled people to live full lives. The individual loves gardening at an accessible garden so you must be willing to assist them in outdoor activities.

This job is located in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

Duties Include:
-Preparation of simple healthy vegetarian meals and food planning
-Light domestic duties e.g laundry
-Helping the individual to leave the house, including pushing a wheelchair
-Assisting with showering/bathing and helping get dressed
-Prompts and reminders for medication, food, showering etc
-Assisting in small practical ways with hobbies and enjoyable creative activities.
-Any other duties that may be assigned to assist the individual.
-Following Covid 19 safety measures: all training on this and all PPE will be provided.
