Job Description
I'm a 26-year-old lady who lives in Bowden just outside Newtown St Boswells. I'm looking for a patient, friendly personal assistant to support me with household tasks only; I don't require support with personal care only encouragement with choirs so I can maintain my tenancy.
I find it difficult getting out but when I do manage to go out in the community, I require 1-1 support due to anxiety and sensory issues.
Initially it will be building up the trust between us so I'm comfortable with you helping me.
Support and encouragement with household choirs, washing up, laundry, etc.
Bring in shopping for me when I feel unable to go out
Take me shopping when I feel up to it
Drive and drop me off occasionally to see my partner
Promote independence
Any other tasks required by the client
Driver required with Business Insurance
Previous experience/background working for an individual with anxiety and sensory issues or a willingness to become more informed
Kind and empathetic
Patient and outgoing
Practical and a good communicator
Trustworthy and reliable
Availability between 10.00am to 3.00pm
Times/days/hours are flexible and can be discussed to suit
13.60 per hour
Social expenses and mileage paid when out with the client
5.6 weeks annual leave on a pro rata basis
