Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to a individual in a home settings. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and maintaining a respectful and supportive environment. Reliability and commitment is vital.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing Support clients with transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel Engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life Follow care plans meticulously to ensure each client's individual needs are met. Night support is required between the hours of 8pm and 10am Day support between 9am and 8pm. You will be required to be flexible enough to move between night and days shifts as required. This is a bespoke package of care and requires dedicated carers with a happy disposition.

Skills

Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with clients and team members Strong communication skills to build rapport with client and their families Experience in home care is desirable. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately A valid driving licence is preferred for reaching a rural location.

Pay: 13.00-13.70 per hour
