. You'll be assisting me in daily life as I live with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, which affects my mobility from the neck down.
You'll play a vital role in helping me maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life -- while also sharing in the social activities and experiences that make life fun and meaningful.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Personal Care and Daily Living
Assisting with washing, toileting, dressing and feeding
Supporting mobility and transfers when required
Administering personal care tasks with respect, professionalism and sensitivity
Ensuring comfort, safety and dignity at all times
Household and Practical Support
Helping with light household tasks and meal preparation
Assisting with organisation of daily routines
Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of living areas
Social and Lifestyle Support
Accompanying me to social activities such as football matches, motorsport events, the cinema, concerts and outings
Supporting travel and transport needs (driving is essential)
Encouraging a positive, enjoyable and active lifestyle
